Preaching on Google Video

This photo is actually a "screen shot" from the video taken while I was preaching at the 2006 Sovereign Grace Conference in Lexington this year. For the last several days I've been learning how to convert video from the DVD I brought home from Lexington so that I could post it on the Internet. I went through several different video formats attempting to find one that Google video would accept. They kept getting rejected --- or, the one that did finally process came out grainy and it jumped all over the place.

Well, I think I've finally got it figured out. So, if you'd like to watch "preaching in action" instead of just listening to my disembodied voice, you can click here:

It is a fairly large video file, and despite being converted to a Flash Video, it may take time to download if you have a slow connection. Be patient.

But, it looks pretty good and plays pretty well. We have taken the next leap into the brave, new world.

Thanks to Andrew Doss for his input in getting this up and running. Now that I have some idea what I'm doing, I may put several other clips up on the 'net. Who knows? Maybe even some early TV appearances from my early rock'n'roll career --- just so you can see how far we've come. :-)

By the way, Google video does allow you to post comments on this video.

Be nice.
